Stadium and Sports Park Usage

The redeveloped EnergyAustralia Stadium will be more than a home ground for two national sporting teams.

A wide range of user groups is expected to benefit from the redevelopment. Examples of these users include:

	Family Events
	Events primarily for children and their families
	Sport - Major
	International, National and State sporting tournaments
	Sport - Junior
	Junior sport development programmes and High School Final games (FREE)
	Sport - Other
	Regional and local sporting events, specialty sports
	Music - Major
	International and Major Australian groups, classical ensembles or musical shows
	Music - Other
	Minor International and Australian groups, classical ensembles or musical shows
	Exhibitions & Trade Shows
	Exhibitions and trade shows using the function areas and or ground with exhibition booths, etc
	Conventions & Seminars
	Corporate Conventions, Conferences, Business Seminars
	Dinners & Dances
	Fully catered dinners and dances for 100 to 800 people

Other Uses & Community Programs:
A number of other uses and community programs have also been identified. These include:

	Public Art Exhibitions
	An opportunity exists for local artists and sculptors to exhibit their works in the large function area. It is also proposed that a local artist(s)/sculptor(s) be commissioned to create a permanent artistic feature for the Stadium. The Trust will also be encouraging school students to take part in local sports history projects, displays and "art-walls".
	Open Air Cinema
	Similar to the summer flick festivals in Sydney, EnergyAustralia Stadium could host an open air cinema.
	Theatre Venue
	The function room may provide a venue for local theatre groups.
